Nose: Dark fruits, damp musty basement, oak, red berries, leather, orange peel, milk chocolate, raisins
Palate: Medium mouth feel, a lightness to it but certainly not thin, chocolate, almonds, figs, oak, orange tart, jammy
Finish: Drying, fruity, medium length
Rating: 84/100 – Excellent | Really quite exceptional
Awesome stuff and a big step up from their 12 year. Doesn’t quite carry the thick mouth feel and long finish of the 18 year but the foundation is there. Classic Glendronach mustiness with plenty of sherry influence.
