Finish: Short to medium length, drying, oak spice, and lingering sweetness.
Rating: 67/100 – Good | Better than average
Not my favorite whisky that I’ve tried from Shelter Point. It’s not bad just… bizarre. I would have loved to try this same blend without the dominating French Oak finish for comparison. Overall still a solid dessert pour though and cool to see Shelter Point experimenting with different grain types.
