Very lively for the proof without being hot. There’s plenty of spice on the palate with those fruity notes coming in later and a great mouth feel. I’ve heard that there is a lot of variance in New Riff’s single barrels but I’m quite happy with this one.
Additional Info: New Hampshire selection, Barrel No. 16-10981, 4 years old with a mash bill of 65% corn, 30% rye, and 5% malted barley
