Tasting Notes
Nose: Maple syrup, butterscotch, grass, honey nut cheerios, mint.
Palate: Thick mouthfeel with a little heat, cloyingly sweet, artificial pancake syrup, more butterscotch. Some floral rye character finally peeks through with a hint of allspice.
Finish: Short to medium length, more sweetness, finishes with cinnamon and allspice.

Woah this is way too sweet. Angel’s Envy is charging a lot of money for what tastes to me like an unbalanced Old Fashioned. The rye whiskey is drowned out by the finish and what peeks through isn’t particularly impressive. Overall It’s not a bad dessert dram if you’re the mood for pancakes but an easy pass otherwise.
