Rating: 68/100 – Good | Better than average
One of the better 4 year MGP ryes that I’ve tried. This SAOS single barrel hits all of the right notes and shows good depth of flavor. I don’t get any of the youthful grass notes that are common in younger ryes and at nearly 60% ABV it still feels just tempered enough as to not be overly aggressive. For around $50 these single barrels are a solid buy and I’ll consider picking up another bottle in the future.
