Rating: 48/100 – Sub-par | Many things I’d rather have
Famous Grouse is a really solid budget pick. Well blended, it’s young and boring but thankfully lacks those truly off putting notes that often plague cheap blended scotch. It’s not something I’d reach for to drink neat, but it is a perfectly palatable whisky. It really shines in cocktails and makes a great Penicillin, and at $27 a handle you can make cocktails for the whole party.
