Nose: Cinnamon, clove, vanilla, oak, a little caramel, and rye spice.

Finish: Medium length, quite tingly with a lot of spice, faint orange zest, and some oak.
Rating: 57/100 – Average | Solid, ordinary
A solid example of a budget high rye bourbon. It has some nice spice to it that I think comes through well in a cocktail, but otherwise there isn’t that much going on here. At this price point, if you want a high rye bourbon to sip neat, I think you would be better off with Four Roses Small Batch or Smoke Wagon Straight Bourbon if you can find it.
